Think about this, if everyone is using the same software to find products, then they all end up selling the same things. No one wins this way! Engage your creativity. Here are some of the things I do to come up with different products.
Notice Ideas Everywhere You Go
When I’m out and about, I take notes on my phone when I see something interesting. I like to browse random stores like bicycle shops, souvenir shops, and all those weird little mom-and-pop shops.
You can get a lot of great ideas that you never would have thought of otherwise. Some of those products could be good sellers on Amazon. Some of them can give you ideas on how to improve an existing product. Take the notes while you’re noticing things, then go back later to research your ideas!
Look For Unique Ideas Everywhere
Get into the mindset of looking for unique products no one else thinks about.
If you work at an office, look through all the office supplies to see if you find something unique.
At a restaurant, look around. What does every table have on it? What does every server use? Because, if the servers there are using it, then most likely servers in the millions of other restaurants in the US are using it too!
Look For Demand, Then Work Backwards
When you see something everywhere (like on every table in a restaurant)…that shows you demand! Now, do follow-up research to see how you can supply that demand.
So keep your eyes open everywhere you go.
I’ve found a lot of amazing products this way!
In my Amazon Winners Academy program, I help clients learn how to find products to sell on Amazon that no one else is thinking of.
