Let’s talk about the best ways to find bundling ideas for your products!
Put Yourself In Your Customer’s Shoes
You need to dive into your customer’s shoes when figuring out which other products to add in a bundle. You can’t just add a random product and expect it to work…it has to be almost as valuable to them as the product they intend to buy.
You need to know your customer well enough that you feel confident that “if the customer buys this, then they definitely will buy this too or, without a doubt need this”. Then, that is the product you add in to your bundle.
Dig In To Discover Your Customer’s Deepest Needs
Step into their shoes, and really come from their perspective in your research. Pretend you’re buying the product yourself and doing the activities they are doing. So hunt around on blogs, Youtube, and SM where those target customers hang out. Dig into competitor reviews and see what customers complain about.
Don’t Add Pointless Products
So many people add pointless products to their bundles…like when I ordered my gym mats, they came with jump ropes. Now I have 3 freaking jump ropes…I didn’t even know they were included when I ordered. This did not add value to me.
Figure Out The Quantity Of The Bundle
The first thing you want to do is figure out the quantity of the bundle. Let’s say you’re selling plastic cups. You want to know whether you should do a 100 pack or a 50 pack of plastic cups.
Search “Plastic Cups” on Amazon.com and see who is doing the most sales!

Use Frequently Bought Together and Sponsored Products For Ideas
Do a little extra research to come up with additional ideas.
- Frequently Bought Together—On the listing, when you scroll down you will see Frequently Bought Together. Think about this as Amazon telling you exactly what customers buy with that same product. This gives you great ideas of what you could include with your product to add more value and convenience!
- Product Placement Ads—The Product Placement Ads are also great. What this tells you is which products are getting sales on this listing… or else sellers would not be advertising here!
