Here are a few resources I’ve created and a few things I’ve been enjoying outside Amazon FBA.
Jim from “The Office” is actually a spy?!
Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan – Now it’s hard to take Jim (John Krasinski) seriously as a world class CIA agent and a badass, after his role in The Office.
But after watching a few episodes you buy into his new role as ‘Jack Ryan’.
Each season is different (3 seasons total) where Jack is saving the world from some evil country or agency, and it remains high paced and action packed the whole way through.
Usually not a fan of the Tom Clancy made for tv shows, but this one hooked me in and binged watched Season 2 & 3 this last weekend.
Sober January
Instead of the usual Sober October, I decided to do a Sober January.
This came from motivation with the New Year and then really digging into what I want to accomplish for 2023.
The biggest productivity-busting activities for me are consuming alcohol and being hungover the next day (or 2), where I do nothing but lay around and eat terrible food.
Obviously not good.
Then the next one for me is consuming caffeine regularly.
This is something I have tried to quit many many times…
For some reason my body just doesn’t like it even though I love that feeling of ‘tweaking out’ for about an hour haha.
If I consume 3+ days in a row, I usually become a scatter-brained person, and don’t want to do anything ‘boring’ like showing up to work to complete the necessary, but not so fun parts of being your own boss.
Then if I really stay consistent on it, I usually have 2-3 days where I get burnt out and have to sleep 10+ hours a day just to get through.
Again, I know this issue isn’t for everyone, but for me, caffeine is not my friend and destroys my productivity long term.
So to start this year I decided to stay off these 2 substances for January, and depending on how I feel, I might continue.
I don’t dabble with any other ‘fun’ substances besides these 2, so hints Sober January!
