What I Am Nerding Out To
Lately, I’ve been nerding out to this YouTube channel, Modern Goldsmith.
One of his latest videos had me hooked. He basically just takes a big chunk of rock that has some gold pieces in it, and smelts it down into pure gold.
It’s a really long process, but it’s just so fascinating to watch. Didn’t realize how much chemistry is involved to do something like this. It had my inner nerd coming out.
What I am Re-Watching
One of the shows I’m rewatching is Breaking Bad. This may have been inspired by watching Modern Goldsmith, just because of all the chemistry he does.
So far, I’m just a few episodes in, but it’s almost like I’m starting from scratch since I haven’t watched it in so long.
I honestly forgot just how good it is.
