This Place Is A Hidden Gem…

Here are a few resources I’ve created and a few things I’ve been enjoying outside Amazon FBA.

Uncomfortably Naked, Sleeping Out My Car, and a Hidden Gem

This last weekend I took a car trip to the well-known tourist spot of… Northwest Arkansas.

I am sure your reaction is just like everyone else’s, why the hell would you go there?

I will tell you though, this is one of the most beautiful unknown areas of America.

Rolling hills, green pastures, massive lakes, mountain ranges similar to the Appalachians, massive caves, and my favorite part of the whole trip, Hot Springs National Park. (Map Below of the Area we explored)

This was the first time I was able to put my Tesla in camping mode and sleep out of the back of it. Worked pretty well, but the added mattress pad the 2nd night was the key.

The 2nd half of my trip was about 3 hours south of where we camped in Hot Springs, Arkansas, which I didn’t know existed until the day before I went.

There in Hot Springs National Park is a block called Bathhouse Row. This is a row of gorgeous buildings built in the late 1800s and early 1900s where they pump hot spring water in where you could come relax, soak, and heal.

Before antibiotics and the Western medicine we have today, this is where massive amounts of people came with war injuries and incurable illnesses to soak in spring water, exercise, and be in nature.

Apparently, it worked well too! So much so that the Navy built a monstrous hospital here right next to Bathhouse Row.

I was able to get into one of these bathhouses for my own soak. The one I went through still does it the traditional way so you have bathhouse attendants taking you around step by step, and you are put into 1910 bathtubs, weird steam contraptions, and paraded around naked as all could be!

Overall, even though it was a little uncomfortable, it was a 10/10 experience when it came to uniqueness and relaxation.

Book I Am Reading

Sam Walton: Made In America – This is the story about the Founder of Walmart, written by Sam Walton himself.

When I think of Wal-Mart, I think of just some cookie-cutter corporation that just outpriced everyone else and had massive investments to dominate the competition.

BOY WAS I WRONG.

This thing was bootstrapped the whole way, run by his family and small team, and they were the underdogs the whole time.

Absolutely wild and chaotic story of how this business became, it honestly feels like a miracle how this business actually survived!

Great inspiring read.

And yes, me exploring Northwest Arkansas and Wal-Mart being started in Northwest Arkansas had something to do with me reading this book.

“Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer the negative elements in your life, don’t sit at home and think about it. Go out and get busy!”
