What I’m Watching
Recently, I started watching Suits on Netflix. A business show about one of New York’s best lawyers, Harvey Specter, who hires a brilliant college dropout who never attended law school, which is against the law.
They are always working on high-profile legal cases, while trying to hide the fact that his associate never went to law school or passed the Bar.
The entire series is filled with drama and suspense – and every episode hooks you into the next one.
I really like the business side of it. Their law firm is at the top of a NYC skyscraper and everyone always dresses super professional and wears a suit. It makes me want to buy one lol.
Typically, I don’t watch a lot of shows, because they can be so time-consuming, but highly recommend this one.
My Favorite Way To Refocus
Whenever I need to refocus my mind, I like to play chess (I’m kind of a nerd lol).
I have been playing for a few years now and found that it keeps my mind sharp since it requires so much focus and strategy.
Actually got the idea from billionaire Peter Thiel. I heard that he likes to play chess and decided to try it.
There is a learning curve, and if you’re just getting started, you’ll probably hate it. But once you get past that stage, it’s very enjoyable.
Right now, I’m 1500 Elo which is in the 98th percentile. So I find myself a little unmotivated or stuck in my work, I’ll just play a few games of chess to refocus my mind.
If you’re looking for a good place to start, Daniel Naroditsky is one of my favorite channels to watch. He’s one of the best chess players in the world and makes some great coaching videos on how to improve.
