Movie I Am Watching
The Greatest Beer Run Ever (Apple TV) – I was hooked instantly on this movie just because of the premise of it. A guy (Zac Efron) who ran around Vietnam delivering beer to his enlisted buddies during the Vietnam War and based on a true story, what could you hate about this movie?
Turned out better than I could have imagined. It was a super fun movie with very few dull moments. Highly recommend it if you want some adventure, with a tad of getting the touchy feelies.
Must Have For Working Out At Home
Have been trying to put together a little home gym so that I can get my ‘pump on’ between work tasks.
I was a little upset that I might have to get 10-20 different sets of dumbbells to complete the gym so I could have all the different weights, which sounded expensive and like it would take up way too much space.
This problem was solved when a friend who came to visit showed me his BowFlex Adjustable Dumbbells that he brings with him everywhere in his travel van.
These things are game changers! One set of dumbbells you can just adjust from 5-55lbs. A bit expensive but I couldn’t imagine what a full set of all the weights would cost.
Smokin Cam’s
I am not a huge fan of cooking, mostly from the time & focus requirement it takes to actually make A+ meals.
This all changed when I was convinced to get a Traeger grill. This is no ordinary grill though. It actually is a wood pellet grill.
Where little wood pellets are burned to create heat and smoke.
You can get different flavors of wood pellets which affects the taste of the meats you are cooking, with certain flavors pairing better with the type of meat!
The smoking effect makes everything taste restaurant quality and makes you feel like a master chef. Lots of chicken and steaks! One of my favorite adult purchases.
