Do You Want To Be A Top Gun In Business?

Here are a few resources I’ve created and a few things I’ve been enjoying outside Amazon FBA.

Favorite Movie Of The Week: Top Gun

I really enjoyed the new Top Gun: Maverick movie with Tom Cruise as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. I thought it was freaking fantastic. It’s very refreshing that the hero isn’t a superhero. Been too many dang superhero movies lately! He’s just an awesome guy who’s great at what he does.

The visuals are brilliant and make you feel like you’re actually in those jets. The sounds and special effects sweep you away into your imagination of flying a jet.

Of course, there was a competitive aspect just like the previous Top Gun movie. But, it’s also a shout-out to aviation excitement. If you haven’t seen it and want a bit of escapism, check it out.

Something I Learned This Week

I learned something really valuable this last week. I went back home for a bachelor party. Spent a long weekend with no cell service! You know how anxious you get when that happens.

I just observed my feelings and behaviors. It was interesting how long it took me to be OK without constantly checking the device. WOW! But by the end of the weekend, I realized how much “device checking” time is time-wasting time.

I’m thinking of ways to purposely go on a Device Diet and what that might look like. Like I said it was interesting.
