For the third week of Team Takeover, I want to introduce Raul – one of the coaches inside of Amazon Wealth Accelerator!
Here are a few resources he’s created and a few things he’s been enjoying outside Amazon FBA.
My Amazon Seller Journey
When I started selling on Amazon a few years ago, I didn’t have a clue what I was doing.
I began as a product reseller. My first product was inflatable pools, and sales skyrocketed in a day. However, I didn’t realize it was a “seasonal product,” and the sales boom was short-lived.
I went a bit crazy, bought inventory without much knowledge, and turned my home into a warehouse that was challenging to clear later.
I was stressed, frustrated, and had already lost some money. But I didn’t give up. I wanted to learn and restart this adventure. I didn’t want a typical 9-to-5 office job.
My journey as a reseller wasn’t easy; I had my ups and downs. So, I decided to join AWA and sought a mentor to help me succeed. That’s when I met my mentor, Camron James.
My first FBA product was an idea my friend and I developed, and when we put it into practice after taking the course, the sales went through the roof.
Since then, I’ve had three years of experience selling on Amazon.
Now that I am an AWA Coach, I feel fortunate to share my knowledge with others. Also, I interact with many cool and wise people from whom I learn daily.
I now know I’m on the right path toward my financial freedom, not just for the sake of having more money, but for the peace of mind of spending more time with those I love: my wife, Valentina, and my new baby, Rio!
I Will Always Love This Story
This is one of my favorite stories that illustrates the essence of Ubuntu – or ‘community’.
It is the tale of an anthropologist who set a playful game for a group of African children.
He placed a basket of delicious fruits under a tree and drew a line some distance away, telling the children that whoever reached the tree first could have all the fruits.
Instead of rushing and competing against each other, the children held hands and ran together towards the tree, sharing the fruits among themselves.
When asked why they chose to act collectively, they explained, “How can one of us be happy if all the other ones are sad?”
This story beautifully encapsulates the Ubuntu philosophy, emphasizing the value of community, cooperation, and the understanding that our happiness and well-being are interconnected.
It highlights the belief that our individual actions and well-being are profoundly tied to the collective welfare of the community.
What I’m Reading
$100M Leads by Alex Hormozi. It is a priceless marketing book on how to grow your business.
What I’m Watching
Game of Thrones. Yes, I have already watched this many times before lol. But this is the best series I have ever seen by far.
What I’m Listening To
I love listening to Panic! At The Disco. If you need some motivation during the day, their song High Hopes always fires me up.
