Here are a few resources I’ve created and a few things I’ve been enjoying outside Amazon FBA.
Down Bad
As you know, I love to play fantasy football.
One of the things I do to make sports games more entertaining is to put a schmeckle or two on the games.
It makes the games a lot more entertaining because you can have a dog in the fight for teams you don’t necessarily care about.
Sometimes, if I’m watching with my fiance and she is tired of watching, I’ll make a $5 bet for her, so she gets involved too.
I’m usually pretty 50/50 on these things, but this year I have been on one of the worst losing streaks that I can recall.
So far I’m down $700.
It just shows you even if you think you’re knowledgeable, the house always wins.
However, if you can afford to bet $2 or $5 on a game, it makes it a lot more interesting. But if you don’t have a good income, you shouldn’t do this.
Personally, I use Fanduel. They have a lot of cool offers where you can get free bets here and there to get started.
There’s a lot of risk involved though, so be smart.
Trip To Charleston
Recently, I took a road trip to Charleston, and I was shocked at how gorgeous it was.
I really didn’t know much about the city, but it is beautiful.
Downtown is all historic buildings from the 1900’s, so there is a ton of history there. It’s kind of like going into a little time capsule.
We toured two out of the many Civil War and World War II forts there – like Fort Sumter, which is just a ferry ride away on an island.
They also have one of the oldest trees in America (400+ years old), a World War II Battleship, Congaree National Park, and historic Rainbow Row. I could go on and on… It’s such a cool city as far as history, which I’m a big nerd for.
Big fan of going to places I know nothing about and exploring.
Plus, it helps get me in a good headspace for work. I can put in a good eight hours and then tour around new places to get some dopamine.
Quote Of The Week
“I used to resent obstacles along the path, thinking, ‘If only that hadn’t happened, life would be so good.’ Then I suddenly realized, life *is* the obstacles. There is no underlying path.”
