Controversial Topic
The other day I stumbled on this video talking about how certain people see benefits in taking a little bit of magic mushrooms per day.
They increase mood, depression goes away, concentration goes up, and stuff like that.
It fascinates me because I’ve always been curious about psychedelics and the work they’re doing at maps.org helping PTSD patients.
Now I’m not suggesting anybody should take magic mushrooms, and I probably even won’t… But this subject just interests me how something that comes from the ground can make you trip out of your mind or help your mental state in small doses.
We live in a fascinating world.
Something I Keep Rewatching
If you’re a Colts fan, then this is probably a sore subject; but the Vikings vs Colts is the largest comeback in NFL history. And this video goes over the probability of them winning the game, during their comeback.
When they first begin, they’re down 33 points and have a 0.6% chance of winning. But each time they score, it shows their odds increasing until it hits 100%.
It’s fascinating how little the points matter in the beginning, just because they’re down so much. But it’s cool to watch them claw their way back.
Now I may be a little biased because I’m a Vikings fan, but it’s still crazy as a sports fan in general to see the biggest comeback in NFL history.
So this is something I watch every now and again.
