Here are a few resources I’ve collected, and a few things I’ve been enjoying outside of Amazon FBA.
The Biggest News In The Universe
By now you’ve probably seen something about NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). This telescope project took 25 years to develop, and it launched Christmas day 2021. Well, this last week we finally got the first photos back from the telescope.
The Big Bang theory is that 13.8 billion years ago, the universe began in a giant explosion and the universe has been expanding ever since. The JWST is now sending back photos of what the universe looked like 13.7 billion years ago. By comparison, the Hubble Space Telescope showed us the universe at 13.4 billion years ago.
In case you haven’t seen it yet, here is the first photo that JWST sent back.
To give you a sense of scale, the six-pointed objects are actual stars. Here’s the mind-blowing thing though. All the other orange blobs (even the little ones) are whole galaxies! There’s so much more to the universe than we ever imagined.
One of the most exciting things about JWST is that we will be able to see into stellar nurseries, where stars and their planetary systems are being born. Scientists will be able to observe and answer questions about how the clouds of dust and gas collapse to form stars and how planetary systems form around them.
Another “Far Out” Thing I’m Watching
I’ve been watching “How To Change Your Mind” on Netflix. This documentary series by author Michael Pollan explores the history and uses of psychedelics, including LSD, psilocybin, MDMA and mescaline. He suggests that they can have healing and restorative effects on people suffering from PTSD, depression, and addiction.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not suggesting you dive into these drugs and waste away your time. It’s just that I’ve always been curious about psychedelics and what they could be used for. I’m not sure what to do with the information myself, but it’s something I find fascinating and consistently learn more about all the time. I guess it’s more about being open-minded.

When you’re struggling with something in your Amazon business, think about this quote. Do you know that some of the NASA folks responsible for the JWST have worked their entire career on it! Twenty-five years, cost overruns, fights with Congress on funding, and technical setbacks. They let nothing stop them. And look at the results!
