STOP Using Clickfunnels: Helium 10 Portals Complete Tutorial

FBA sellers, it’s time to say “goodbye” to Clickfunnels👋

As an Amazon FBA seller, you need every tool in your toolbox to drive traffic and get sales. Introducing a new tool: Helium 10 Portals! With this tool, you can build sales pages with your products off of Amazon. This is beneficial because it enables you to drive external traffic to the sales pages, re-target shoppers, collect emails, and create customer lists, which you cannot do on Amazon. This is the first step towards building your brand off Amazon and gaining external traffic to your Amazon page to rank higher and boost your organic sales. Helium 10 Portals Complete Tutorial

Before you can build a portal, you will need a Helium 10 subscription. I recommend the Platinum plan for most sellers, as it allows you to create up to three portals at a time. You can also register for a Diamond plan if you need up to six Helium 10 portals.

Once you have a subscription, the fun can begin. Within the Helium 10 tools page, you will click on “Portals” from the top menu. Now, you will see your dashboard, which provides you with an overview of your portal performance.

From the left-side navigation bar, select “Create new portal.” Now, you can start creating your portal with these easy steps:

Details

Name your portal after your product
Choose your portal type (i.e., product sales page, email opt-in page, or “thank you” page)
Input Amazon product page URL
- Portals will extract your product information from the listing.
Click “Save & continue”

Helium 10 Portal Integrations

You can integrate a Facebook pixel, Google Analytics tracking code, or a custom tracking code to retarget potential customers online
With these integrations, you can serve customers advertisements for products that they have previously shown interest in
- To get started with pixels, you will need a business Facebook account. Using the “Business manager” section of your business Facebook, go to settings “Data sources” and “Pixels” to copy the pixel code into Helium 10. This process is relatively similar for Google as well.
Deeplinking is another integration I recommend using. With deep linking, you can send customers over to the Amazon mobile app directly when they click on your advertisements versus sending them to the website on their mobile devices. This feature helps tremendously with conversions, as most shoppers are familiar with the Amazon app and have their credit card information stored.
From here, hit “Save & continue” to move on to the next section

URLs

In this section, Helium 10 will make you a custom URL to help you rank optimally with keywords.
There are various types of URLs you can choose from. However, I recommend using the “2-step via hidden keyword” URL.
- Helium 10 will integrate your selected keywords into your URL to boost organic ranking with this option.
- Use PPC data or Helium 10’s Magnet to determine the best keywords.
Hit “Save & continue”

Publishing

Enable scheduling if you have a start and end date for your campaign
Enable email collection to start building your email list
Enable coupons (I recommend coupons no more than 20% off for optimal ranking)
- In your Amazon Seller Central account, go to “Advertising” and “Promotions from the top menu to activate coupons
Once again, click “Save & continue”

Templates

Select a premade Helium 10 template for your campaign
- Within the template, you can edit almost all text and images to fit your needs.
- I encourage you to get creative, add engaging copy and sell, sell, sell!
- Add FAQs, footers, reviews, and timers for claiming your offer.
Hit “Save & continue” once more

Design

Now, you can activate your portal and view your design by clicking the button next to your portal
Because Helium 10 Portals are hosted for you within Helium 10’s server, you don’t have to do anything further; No domain name or anything else is required.
Now, you can copy your portal link and create a Facebook ad campaign using that link

Helium 10 Portals Wrap-Up

Although Clickfunnels is a great tool and one that I use for my business, it’s definitely expensive. If you already use Helium 10 for keyword and product research, adding in portals makes a lot of sense economically. Portals are easy to make sales pages, they allow you to drive external traffic to the sales pages, re-target shoppers, collect emails, and create customer lists, which you cannot do on Amazon.
